DES MOINES, Iowa, March 13, 2007 - TMC Transportation, a division of Annett Holdings, Inc., the largest privately-held flatbed carrier in the nation, honored TMC owner-operator Bill Richardson with the highest driver honor given by TMC, the Wheel Master Award for 2007.
Richardson has been with TMC since 1992. He was also recognized with the Driver of the Quarter Award for the fourth quarter in 2002. Richardson's dedication to excellence and other outstanding qualities are what made him a perfect recipient.
TMC is honored to give Richardson this distinction. "Bill is an old school driver who is always willing to help another driver," says his fleet manager Ed DePaulo. "He is funny and he works hard. TMC means a lot to him and on behalf of TMC, we appreciate his efforts!"
The Wheel Master Program was created as a way of recognizing TMC's best drivers. Each year a driver is honored with the Driver of the Wheel Master distinction based on years of service with the company, safe driving record and overall quality performance.
