TMC Announces Trainer of the Year Award

TMC Transportation, the largest privately-held flatbed carrier in the nation, recently honored Motley resident William Borders as the Trainer of the Year for 2008.  He was previously named Trainer of the Month for September of 2008, making him eligible for the year-end award.

“Bill has done an exceptional job trying to produce the best drivers he can for TMC.  He has always gone the extra mile to make sure his trainees are prepared to go out on their own and be productive drivers,” says Jeff Geist, Driver Education and Training.

Drivers are chosen for this award based on superior performance as a driver trainer. The Trainer Award Program is based on a point scale which awards points for being accident-free, incident-free, retaining driver trainees, displaying a positive attitude, being claim-free and displaying proper load securement.
