![]() Best Career FinishRace Release posted on 04/06/2009 Completing the O’Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway with an impressive 11th place finish, Michael Annett leaves the Lone Star State with his best career finish in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. One of only 14 drivers to finish the race on the lead lap, Annett gained “The No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers/HYPE Energy Drinks team is really pleased with our great finish today. A lot of things that have been out of our control have contributed to some disappointing results this season, today’s finish in the O’Reilly 300 should give us some much needed momentum in the long season ahead,” remarked an enthusiastic Annett following the race. The No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers/HYPE Energy Drinks crew chief Bruce Cook commented, “Michael did a great job today proving his talent. I look forward to the race at Nashville next weekend and building on our success from today.” Next weekend the No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers/HYPE Energy Drinks team will visit Nashville Superspeedway for one of four Nationwide Series non-companion events. Annett has two previous starts at Nashville Superspeedway including the ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2007 and one start in the Camping World Truck Series in 2008.
