 TMC Names Wheel MasterPress Release posted on 02/22/2010 TMC Transportation recently honored Matthew Bohl of Chariton, IA with the highest driver honor given by TMC, the Wheel Master Award for 2009. Bohl has been with TMC since 1996. He was also recognized with the Driver of the Quarter Award for the fourth quarter in 2007. Bohl’s dedication to excellence, safety record, productivity and many other outstanding qualities are what made him the perfect recipient. “Matt knows how to safely and thoroughly secure and tarp any load he is given,” says fleet manager Chad Reece. “He communicates well and stays calm and professional in any situation. Matt is a safe driver through any weather conditions and no matter how big of a load he is asked to pull. It gives me a good feeling knowing I have a professional such as him that I can depend on.” The Wheel Master award was created as a way to recognize TMC’s best drivers. Each year a driver is honored with the Wheel Master distinction based on years of service with the company, safe driving record and overall quality performance.
