Message from the CEO
When I sat down to write this article I started thinking about the significance of milestones. This past month three TMC employees celebrated 20 year anniversaries. Twenty years is a long time to spend working for one company these days, and I truly appreciate their dedication and loyalty. I would like to thank Russ Jansen, customer service representative; Brent Carlson, customer service representative; and Jeff Wisgerhof, training manager for their hard work and dedication over the last twenty years. Their contributions to TMC throughout the years and on a day to day basis are immeasurable. These individuals, who have spent the better part of their careers with TMC, remind me that people are our greatest resource. We have been blessed with some of the best people you can find anywhere — people who share our core values of honesty and integrity. We couldn't provide the level of service we are known for without hardworking people like Russ, Brent and Jeff. They take a lot of pride in doing the job right. Taking pride in the job that you do here at TMC is very important to me. We recently conducted a fleet-wide driver satisfaction survey. While we are still sifting through all the results, one thing was abundantly clear. Drivers are proud to work for TMC and proud of the job that they do here. Everyone has to make a living and one of my most important responsibilities is to provide our people with a place to work where they can take pride in what they do and thrive in their environment. Together, let's look forward to many more milestones in the years ahead. |
